Letter to my Clients

To my clients:

I wanted to let you know that I will be relocating to the northeast sometime this summer and will be closing my Sewanee practice on May 15, 2019.

It has been a privilege and an honor to have worked with you and I am truly grateful for the trust you’ve shown in sharing your life with me. The most difficult part of this move by far will be leaving my clients.

I am now licensed in the state of Maine where I plan to live and will maintain my Tennessee license for awhile. This will allow me to have sessions via Zoom or FaceTime with clients in Tennessee and Maine. If this is something you feel you’d be interested in, please let me know.

There are 2 or 3 other therapists who may be taking new clients.

Bennett and Kate practice out of the same building I’m in and James will begin using my office in June.

If you choose to see another therapist as opposed to continuing with me in online sessions, I’m happy to be accessible by text or email and we can set up phone calls or online sessions until you’re situated with a new therapist.

While it’s sad to leave Sewanee, where I’ve lived and worked for several decades, I am moved to return to the part of the country I grew up in. I’m excited about this upcoming adventure and looking forward to beginning this new chapter in my life.
